This was the first time I'd seen a new Mum who didn't look and sound shattered! There was a calm feeling in the house. At first I found it strange to see the nurse whisking baby Shahan away and tending to Shaline with hot cups of infusion. But it was great to see the way she could breast feed at ease and was recovering from her C-section. I think having the nurse there makes it easier for Dad too - Shaline's husband was back at work but knew that she had support at home - and without the emotional complications of a grandmother or other family member helping out. Overall an impressive way to help a new family adjust, and perhaps something we could embrace in the West.Laura Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13465290844295722680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1470503124475333049.post-6241113108861337162012-08-24T00:41:32.111+01:002012-08-24T00:41:32.111+01:00I really like the idea of this, (apart from not be...I really like the idea of this, (apart from not being able to wash) but having that special time to bond with your child with no interruptions, or visitors or 'life' getting in the way sounds like a great way to begin your life together as a mother and child.Rhianhttp://www.theonlywayismelbourne.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
